Counting the rings on a gigantic tree whose life was ended sooner than needed. The life that comes from the death of a fallen tree, and her stump left behind. New growth sprouting from the old stump of a mother tree. Seasons etched into rings which tell so many stories. The cracks and lines that form with the drying and rotting of the wood. The different perspective offered by a tree's cross-section - each a unique fingerprint.
Entirely hand-fabricated in traceable and recycled sterling silver. Zero casting.
